Try to run this test in morning when you wake up, puls of an average person then should be around 50-55bps, and if you are playing sports or something, when you wake up in the morning your puls should be around 40bps. cause your heart is stronger and has to beat less but with more power… for example old? people average puls in morning is around 70, cause their heart is getting weaker and has to beat more often. < just one interesting information
@SirMrTony? It uses a algorithm with the camera and the flash lights up the inside of your finger then the camera uses a algorithm to recognize eveytime your vein expands and contracts. that is your heart rate
@pkristenable
No, as the iPod touch has no flash.?
@SirMrTony? No Problem, as to @BlurredPlectrums reply, if it was the accelerometer detecting the pulse, the phone would really need to be kept very still, otherwise auxiliary positioning input to the accelerometer would certainly disrupt any detection of a very subtle pulse in comparison.
@sutty6 That actually makes a lot of? sense, grazie.
@SirMrTony This? information is incorrect, read my reply.
@BlurredPlectrums? This is incorrect, read my reply.
@SirMrTony The Flash illuminates your finger, If you notice, your finger actually glows a slight red colour when your place your finger over it. Because there is a pulse within your finger, that pulse is actually strong enough to make the light pulse. Although it is difficult to see this, the camera can pick up the minute changes of light when your finger pulses, the app then uses this data to record the algorithm of which your finger is pulsing (slightly changing the light? input to the camera).
@BlurredPlectrums? Ohhhhhhh, thank you
@SirMrTony Your body’s pulse is triggering the accelerometer? in the device, since it’s located near the flash.
Does this work on iPod touch?
Can someone please explain to be how putting your finger on the flash? can read your heart rate?
“I? love you more then my iPone” I’d get slapped if I told my girlfriend that.
@Jallandhara? Holy fuck, why so many fuck’s?!
I was about to download this app and monitor my heart rate,? but then i took an arrow in the knee.
hey thanks Chris. I like useful? free apps.
Wow thanks a lot. I needed a Heart Rate Monitor for my P90x cardio workouts and this? is a great replacement for the traditional kind.
It was free a couple of months ago. My? old case made the app harder to use.
Its? still free
Thanks Chris!
Enough with? the fucking retarded skyrim jokes. Jesus fucking ****.
That’s interesting but I doubt as accurate as what you would get at a doctor’s office.? But hey at least it’s cheaper.
